My never ending list of things that need doing has shrunk today, because the web stats are back up and running again!
The whole IP change messed up a couple of things, the stats was one of them. Tonight I sat down and set them up again from scratch, and they seem to be working well.
This time around there is a couple of improvements:
1. Stats update every 15 minutes instead of every 6 hours.
2. Stats "decay" over time. This means that if a player doesn't play on our server for a week, their rank will go down significantly. Hopefully this will allow the stats to be a lot more dynamic (instead of having the same people at the top, it should change around a lot more!)
Currently, because I started again when installing the stats, its going through the entire server logs from the last year and updating the stats page. This means that it might be a little bit out of date, but I think by tommorow midday the stats will be up to date.
