Appealing a ban:
We always feel that banning a player is a last resort. We try not to ban players unless its
completely unavoidable. However, if you have been banned you may appeal, and we will consider
your appeal.
The quickest way to appeal a ban is by making a post in the correct section of our forum. Alternatively you can email admin <AT> eurohangout.com
In your forum post/email, please include the name you were using at the time, your Steam ID, why you think you may have been banned, the Admin that banned you and why you feel you should be unbanned.
You will receive a reply stating whether your appeal was succesful or not, and a reason why.
Reporting a cheater:
People cheat. Unfortunately, there cannot always be an admin online to deal with it. If this is
the case, we ask that a player would record a demo of the cheater, obtain the steam ID and
pass this on to us.
To record a demo, you must first open up the console (` key) and type "record demoname" (where demoname is what you wish to call the demo)
While your demo is recording, we ask that you open the console again and type "status". This will allow us to see the steam ID of the cheater.
Once you have enough evidence of someone cheating (2-3 rounds should be enough), open your console and type "stop". The demo will now be saved to your computer in the folder "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\*yourusername*\counter-strike\cstrike\" and will be called "demoname.dem" (or whatever you named the demo when recording).
The next step involves uploading the demo from your computer to the web, so that we can see it. There are numerous sites that offer free file hosting, the best one in my experience is MegaUpload.com - once uploaded, you get provided with a link, which you can then send to us.
Reporting Admin Abuse:
Admin Abusing is everything that we stand against. Therefore, if there are any cases
of admins abusing their power, we take it extremely seriously. It is an admins job to
make sure the game runs as smoothly as possible, and to make sure the server stays a
friendly, enjoyable place.
If you feel an admin is behaving unreasonably, or abusing their admin powers, we ask that a player would record a demo of the admin abuse, obtain the steam ID and pass this on to us.
To record a demo, you must first open up the console (` key) and type "record demoname" (where demoname is what you wish to call the demo)
While your demo is recording, we ask that you open the console again and type "status". This will allow us to see the steam ID of the admin (thus making sure that it isnt one admin pretending to be another admin).
Once you have enough evidence of admin abuse, open your console and type "stop". The demo will now be saved to your computer in the folder "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\*yourusername*\counter-strike\cstrike\" and will be called "demoname.dem" (or whatever you named the demo when recording).
